Kay Yow Cancer Fund
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against all cancers affecting women. Established in 2007 in honor of the late Kay Yow, the legendary North Carolina State University women’s basketball coach, the Fund embodies her courageous spirit and relentless drive to make a difference. Throughout her battle with breast cancer, Coach Yow was a beacon of strength and hope, inspiring countless individuals with her resilience and commitment to others.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s mission is to raise money for scientific research, provide grants to underserved communities, and empower women with the knowledge and resources to prevent and battle cancer. By partnering with organizations, businesses, and individuals across the nation, the Fund has successfully raised millions of dollars to support innovative cancer research and enhance the quality of life for women facing this disease.

With a focus on collaborative efforts, the Kay Yow Cancer Fund unites the sports community and beyond in a collective effort to bring an end to cancer. Through events, awareness campaigns, and fundraising initiatives, the Fund continues to honor Coach Yow’s legacy, ensuring that her vision of a world without cancer lives on.

U.S. Capitol Police Fallen Officers Fund
The U.S. Capitol Police Fallen Officers Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the bravery and sacrifice of U.S. Capitol Police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Established to provide financial support and assistance to the families of fallen officers, the Fund ensures that the legacy of these heroes is preserved and that their families receive the care and support they need during their most challenging times.
The Fund offers critical financial aid to cover immediate needs, such as funeral expenses, and provides long-term support for the education and well-being of the officers’ surviving spouses and children. In addition to direct assistance, the U.S. Capitol Police Fallen Officers Fund works to raise awareness about the risks and sacrifices faced by law enforcement officers every day.
By organizing events, fundraising campaigns, and memorial services, the Fund not only supports the families of fallen officers but also fosters a sense of community and remembrance among those who serve and protect. Through these efforts, the U.S. Capitol Police Fallen Officers Fund stands as a powerful testament to the enduring respect and gratitude owed to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Healthy Babies Project, INC
Healthy Babies Project, Inc. (HBP) is a private, not-for-profit, community-based support organization for District of Columbia pregnant and parenting women and families.

They help at-risk D.C. families have healthy babies and move out of the cycle of poverty.
How Health Babies Project works

Reach out to high-risk, low-income, substance-abusing, pregnant, and parenting women, men, and their families.

Remove barriers to health and success by helping clients identify what they need.

Work with service provider partners to connect women and families to resources including health care, housing, nutrition, mental health services, educational support, skills building, substance abuse support, and employment.

Stay with clients long-term to give them the best chance for success.
